New e-Bike field issue with battery percent, range extender only

I appreciate the new e-bike fields. I am traveling (by air) and hence removed the main battery from my Specialized Vado SL 5 and am using just the range extender as the main battery has a capacity too large for air travel. With just the range extender plugged in, the battery percentage on the K2 is showing 0. The built in display on the bike shows the correct value.

  From HH Support just after the e-bike release. 

  "You are correct that for this first release, the range extender battery is not included. This feature is currently undergoing testing and will be added to the e-bike integration once we are confident in the development.  There is not a known timeline for when this feature will be ready but we will notify our Hammerhead Community when it is released. "
