Wird dann endlich das Problem mit den zuviel errechneten Höhenmetern und der falschen Steigung einer gefahrenen Strecke behoben?

Do you plan to release something next week or is the next planned release in two weeks?

We always try and stick to our regular two-week release cadence. We will be sure to give you guys a heads-up if we see any delays in rolling out the update.

Hey Carsten, We are still investigating the issue related to elevation on the Karoo and we will reach out to all affected riders once we have found a fix.

@Carsten "We are still investigating the issue related to elevation on the Karoo and we will reach out to all affected riders once we have found a fix" is Hammerhead speak for NO!

So will the next update be on March 30th or April 6th?

I still don't understand why it's so hard to get this problem under control. All other bike computer manufacturers don't have these problems either. It's been an issue for a year. Or is the hardware to blame and the problem will never be solved. You should be fair enough to admit this when that is the case. Then you should get your money back. The correct altitude measurement is an elementary part of a bike computer.

Hi Carsten, as of now we do not considered this as a Hardware issue. Although, we have replaced a few devices where the problem appeared to be of an extreme nature after reviewing the ride, and FIT files. We continue to scrutinize the root-cause and will reach out to the affected riders pro-actively as soon as we have a fix for it.

You just don't answer my question. Why does it take so long to find the problem with a device that has been on the market for over a year? If only there were a few meters too much altitude on a route. I recently had a ride with real 646 Hm on my Karoo 1435 Hm. My Garmin 1030 didn't have any such problems.

If it is been a problem for a year, and you are still not happy with it, and you *own a Garmin 1030*, why not just ride with that?

You'd hope the slower updates are because they're focusing on moving to a new version of Android - hopefully at least 12+ - for the Karoo 3, and ideally the Karoo 2, too.  Regardless of optimization and new hardware, I don't think we'll ever see the kind of performance and reliability we want on this ancient, deprecated version of Android.

I have a few things to comment on with the new updates:

I didn't receive an e-mail again. This is the third time in succession!

                                                                         Dashboard

1   "We’ve updated the design of Ride, Route, and Workout cards on Dashboard to be more similar to each other." I have no idea what that means. Everything looks the same on my dashbaord!

2   "We’ve fixed an issue where sorting your Rides on Dashboard according to Ride Duration would include the time spent paused or powered down before resuming the ride." I don't have an option to sort my rides by 'Duration'. I only have; 'Newest', 'Name', 'Distance' and 'Elevation Gain'.

I'm sure there is an explanation for these anomalies!

I have the same feeling the about "Added GPS Reception Indicator"

If they are referring to the segmented GPS arrow in Control Center it was hard to spot as I can't remember if it was like that before and it's an unassuming change that actually gives no immediately obvious indication of signal strength. I was expecting a satellite counter or Garmin style bar.
