Low bike battery warning at 50%
AnsweredHi Everyone
I am a new Karoo user and I have paired it with a Specialized Creo. I got a low ebike battery warning during my ride yesterday but the battery was still at 50%. Is there a way to change the threshold as 50% is not low at all. In addition the warning is sitting in the notification centre and cannot be dismissed which is quite irritating.
Thanks.

Hi All, We have identified the improvement opportunities in the threshold value based on sensor type, and will be working on this for a better behavior during the ride. We will keep you posted once this is ready to be released. Notification will be dismissed on reconnecting the sensor or charging the battery above the threshold.

That’s great news. Can I suggest that the warning appears at say 30% or less? That way the notification is relevant and can be triggered on start up as well as during the ride. Once dismissed at 30% it could be triggered again at 20 and then an additional critical warning at 10% or something perhaps….

I have just bought a Hammerhead HRM and this is giving very irritating low battery warnings after just 8 hrs use. Can this be addressed urgently as it is a very poor implementation on a £360 product. These warnings need to be disabled as they are very distracting. I could have bought a Garmin for half the price that wouldn't have these issues...

I am having the same issue with the same bike and other connected devices. I am getting low battery warnings for connected devices when the device is at only about 50% of battery life. This happens for all kinds of devices, SRAM AXS shifter batteries, Coros Vertex 2 watch, & my S-Works Turbo Creo internal battery. It is pretty annoying that the Karoo thinks the batteries in those devices is low when they really are not.
