How to combine multiple rides on the same day into one ride
AnsweredI did my first century ride today. It was called a 3 ring century because it was 3 separate rides starting and stopping from the same location but added up to 100 miles. I just started and ended the 3 separate routes when riding them. Is there a way to make it one continuous ride while riding so the data like speed, mileage, time and elevation shows as one long ride?

Extract the .fit files from the device (it's easier to download each one from your Rides section of the Hammerhead Dashboard). Go to fitfiletools .com. Launch the File Combiner (Merge multiple files into one activity) tool. Upload your .fit files. It will merge the 3 activities together and generate one file that can be downloaded.

Jeffrey, there is no need to end your ride to change your route. Using the control panel, just remove your current route when completed, then add the next route on the 3 ring century. When you have finished the century, then end and save your ride. You will end up with one ride file that will show all of the loops that you have ridden.

So Johnny, if I remove the first route when done and add the next route it won't delete the ride I just did and I will be able to save what all the routes I rode when finished as one single route? Also, to remove the current route I just go to the screen that shows the options, pick the new route and hit start?

Jeffery, removing a route will not delete any ride data, it just removes the route. To remove a route, swipe down from the top of the K2's screen to open the Control Center, then swipe left or right to get to the "Ride" page where you will find the option to remove your route. Repeat the same procedure to add a different route. I do this all the time and I have never lost any ride data.

Thank you so much Johnny! Wish I realized this before I did the century. It would be great if they had a feature where you could combine rides after they are saved. Now, if you could just figure out how to not have the elevation of a ride 300-500 feet higher than my friends that have other units. I see this is an issue that as of yet hasn't been addressed.
