Strava Live Segments - EBike

I have some Strava segments that I and others created from activities logged as ebike rides but no mater what I try they will not show up on the Karoo and therefore do not appear as live segments when I ride along them. Can the Live Segments feature be modified to include ebike rides?

I have managed to star other segments that are classified as "rides" in Strava but my ebike ones will not sync even though they are public and starred.
