speed fluctuations

When riding at a constant speed, the speed shown on my Karoo nevertheless jumps every second or so by +-2km/h, sometimes more. Also when I stand still speed sometimes jumps to 5 or 7 km/h. Is this normal or a bug? I have no speed sensor installed.
