Strava - Setting Sporttype for each Profile

Since the latest Strava Update it's possible to select a default gear for each sport type. I'm using my Karoo2 for mountain and road. I have configured different profiles in my karoo2 for that. Unfortunately the sport-type that is set by the strava export is allways "ride".

It would be awesome when it's possible to differ the sport types "MountainBikeRide" and "Ride" through the profiles.

  Also an e-bike / e-mtb sport type would be great. It is important if auto upload is selected to Strava, because the ride and the e-ride segments are different. The classification is incorrect until manually change the sport type on Strava. It can causes fake KOM takeovers.

  I would love a sport/activity type for each profile as well. I do road, gravel, and mtb. The ability to upload to Strava with the activity already set correctly would be massively helpful in not needing to manually select activity type and keeping track of bike mileage on Strava!

  I just added this topic (https://support.hammerhead.io/hc/en-us/community/posts/15640573162267-Strava-equipment-selection-and-Activity-Fix-support-needed) that covers this as well.

  Turns out you could do all of that with Activity Fix website if only Hammerhead passed that information to the FIT file but, more importantly, included all the ANT+ sensor ID's in the file.  Almost always, you have a particular sensor permanently attached to a given bike so that could be used to infer the bike and probably the activity in many cases.  From Activity Fix, you can set the activity type to any activity type you have in Strava. 

  So we need HH to add this information to the FIT file for bike name, activity type and to include all the sensor ID's in the FIT File.
