Incorrect ebike estimated range

My Specialized Creo will sometimes have an estimated range of over 250km. When this is the case the Karoo incorrectly reports the range and shows 20km or less. Once the range drops below about 250 - 260km it reports it correctly again.

  Anyone from Hammerhead care to comment on this issue? It’s quite annoying not having the correct range info displayed…

  Hi  oceanskipper, We had reported this to the Specialized team some time ago and it was confirmed as known problem. I am awaiting an updated informed regarding this and will let you know as soon as we get to know about it.

  Thanks Ali - so does it work on other e-bikes then? I find it quite odd that it displays the range up to what seems like it might be 256 kilometers... If that is the case I wonder if it is a field length issue as 256 is quite a common number in computing wouldn't you say....!
