how to mark a lap when overlay shown

Hi all

Hope you can sed some light on this. Climber overlay appears and then I'm about to start the climb, i need to mark lap so i can monitor my 3S power and Lap average power but with the overlay on screen, left button press doesn't mark a new lap.

Does anybody know how to mark a lap without the need of hiding the overlay, then mark lap on touch screen or left button and then show climber overlay again?

  I was wondering / frustrated by the same. Surprised I couldn't find anything. I guess an option is to create a profile where the climber overlay is disabled, if you know you're going to be hitting the lap button on that ride.

  You can press the Button B (bottom left hand side button) to minimise the drawer and then mark a lap.

  I really like the climber drawer, but I also like hitting lap at the bottom of a climb.   a bit annoying that the only way to hit lap with drawers enabled is to have to hit it twice, then ya got to open the drawer again..  Anyway to hit lap without having to close the drawer?
