How to maintain WiFi connection if internet drops?

Hi Using a Karoo 2 and a pixel 7 phone. I've just loaded the awesome Inflite type 1 widget so I can display my blood glucose in a data field on the Karoo 2. My internet connection is from a hotspot from my phone. However, it pretty regularly loses connection (and displays 'No' in the data field. When I check my phone the hotspot is still active, but when I look on the Karoo 2 it shows WiFi as 'searching'. If I open up the WiFi menu, my hotspot connection is there, it has just become disconnected. I suspect that if I have been cycling in an area with no phone signal maybe the Karoo detects there's no internet connection and disconnects from the WiFi network? Is there a way to set it to stay connected to the chosen WiFi network no matter what? Thanks for your help, Rob
