Two units on a tandem question

We have two Karoo 2 units to use on a tandem, and then move to our other tandem.  So each unit has two profiles, one for each bike.  So when I edit one profile on one of the units, it automatically updates the other.  But we want to see different things on the profile screens.  Do I need to set up my wife's unit under a different account?
