Looks like a normal map update to me, just bringing the files more or less up to speed in terms of changes made to the OSM data in the mean time. At least this time the update process seemed to go almost without glitches, I still got an error or a warning that I don’t have enough space on the device for all the maps (I’m using just about half of the storage capacity) but after that all the maps still eventually updated on their own without any further intervention.

For what it’s worth, based on my own OSM edits, I would estimate that the data used in the update is from somewhere between 1 and 2 months ago. Just wondering again why we can’t get the most recent data (or at least not something more than a week old) in these updates...

I did not have time to download the maps update a few days ago but did start it today. The device shows 5.4GB used of 28GB yet all the regions show the message "out of space".

Now I have no idea if the maps are usable nor is there any indication of what to do next!
    Anybod know anything?

What I think happened when I made the update is that it first downloaded all the new maps, and after that it deleted the old ones. Because the internal space in my hammerhead was normal, then it went almost full and then returned to normal as before.

My Karoo 2 eventually ran out of juice and stopped. After recharging, my routes had no map data but the device automatically started downloading and eventually all my regions were available. Storage used has gone up from 11GB to 13GB of 28. As it is raining all day today I won't be testing it until tomorrow but it looks as though it is back to normal.
