Hi Frank - yes we have identified this as an issue on the Android phones, and working to get a fix for it. As of now, we suggest using your computer to import the route files.

Thanks, also for the suggested workaround. As I only had my android-phone available, I used my Strava-subscription as a workaround. Imported the GPX as new route in Strava and saved it under my routes, which sync with Karoo Dashboard and Karoo 2.

Would love to have it fixed though, much more convenient.
Any idea about the timing of the fix?

Frank - we are still looking into it, so cannot commit a particular time for the fix. Could you also let me know if you tried it on diffferent browsers? Or let me know the browser that you tried this on.

I have the same issue and it is on both the Web Dashboard and the App one. GPX files on Android are presented as BIN files and the issue would appear to be the Karoo dashboard not recognising these as GPX files. Other routing apps (e.g. Outdoor Active and Memory Map) also see these as BIN files BUT recognise them as GPX files and upload them happily. I presume it must be an API related issue? The workaround for me is that I have a personal website to which I can upload the required GPX file, copy the resultant URL and use that in the Web URL option in the dashboard.

    Thanks.
I use Google Chrome as my webbrowser.

We are working on a fix, and will release it in one of the upcoming update. Meanwhile, we can suggest using Firefox browser on Android phones.

It is working now on Chrome as well. There was an update to Chrome yesterday so it seemed it was a bug on their end.
