Battery life
Hello,
I use two different profiles for my Karoo 2: MAX and MIN.
MAX specs: three data pages, turn by turn ON, Notifications ON, Climber ON, Auto Pause ON, Audio Alerts ON, Battery Save OFF. Connected to Mobile Network. Used for Rides.
MIN specs: the opposite of all of the above, and just one data page. No navigation, just recording.
When I take a ride using MAX battery life is never more than four hours, which is precious little.
When I use MIN battery life is approx. 8 hours, but then of course the purpose of the Karoo 2 is failed.
One might argue that I could switch certain things off (such as Notifications or Mobile Network), but these are the very reason I bought a Karoo 2 in the first place.
I have had mine for just over 2,5 years and the battery problem is increasing, unfortunately. Any ideas how to improve the situation?
Thanks.

I'm in the same boat as you. With the features I use turned on, I get very few hours. I velcro an external battery to my top tube and it's ridiculous. Hammerhead does not offer any battery replacement service which I am willing to pay for. They recommend you throw away your device and buy a new one. They've lost me as a customer. My next head unit will not be Hammerhead.
