Hi All,
There is an update for you. We fixed an issue that prevented certain routes from loading on your rides with the error message: "Preparing Route".
Thank you!

I had the same experience today--tried to load a long, 350-mile route (long routes are now supposed to be somewhat supported in a funky kind of way), but nothing but "preparing route" showed up. I thought I could count on the Karoo 2 for my touring, but my confidence level keeps dropping.

Hi riders, we apologize for the inconvenience caused to you and we understand the frustration that you are going through.
Karoo 2 doesn't support long Routes more than 500 kms as of now. It was wrongly mentioned in our release notes as this is in testing phase now. This was a mistake happened from our end, We are looking forward to roll out this feature as early as next software update. Thank you for your patience during this time.
If any of you are facing the same issues with small Routes not loading on Karoo 2, I request you write to us at support@hammerhead.io with the following details for further investigation.- GPX file of the Route downloaded from the Dashboard.

Hello Hari,
What is the use for this. I create and import my routes from Komoot. But even the shortest one like 35km doesn't work. They are not new routes they used to work fine before the update. And to be more specific the entire GPS doesn't work anymore. If you start a ride without loading a route the u it recognizes where you are and shows the right location on the map but when you start recording the chevron stays in the same place. I the unit records the length of the ride including the sensor data but no GPS trace.

I see that you were using a Profile which is set to Indoors. We suggest you use an Outdoor Profile for Navigation and GPS to work. You can see this option under your Profile settings.
