Bug: POI blobs obscure route and position
In the map view, the POI blobs are shown in front of the route line and current position markers. As a consequence, it is difficult to see where you are on the map and where you are supposed to be going anywhere near a POI, especially when the map shows a fairly large area (mine is usually a 4x4 km square). The automap often helps here, but sometimes you’re just supposed to go straight (no navigation cue) but which way is “straight” is not always obvious.
Another case is if you want to zoom way out to get a bigger picture of the route and there are multiple POIs on screen not too far apart so that the POIs cover almost the entire route. I for instance have a bunch of rail stations that are good places to end a ride as permanent POIs. (These are typically at least 5 km apart so the overlap situation does not occur in normal use.)
I think it would make a lot of sense to move the route and position markers to the foreground and the POIs to the background. (Example pics in separate post.)
