Text Messaging

If like me you live somewhere where the apps for managing, loading etc prepaid data service SIMs require you to login to the app with the phone number and then a one time password from a text message to your data SIM number you'll have been stumped as there is not a native SMS app on the Karoo. So, I'll note that you can side load the QKSMS.apk (a very basic android SMS messaging app) and will then be able to receive text messages to your Karoo data SIM number. Plenty of sites for information on side loading apps via Google.  Works perfectly.
