Sram AXS battery status incorrect

Did a ride yesterday and noticed a red light on my rear sram derailleur. My karoo2 showed no warnings and when checking the sensor status it reported the battery as full

  Did you check your battery levels with the SRAM AXS app? I wondering if it might be a SRAM issue.

  Hello Sietse,

  We tested this from our end to confirm that we are seeing the low battery notifications on the Karoo 2. The reason for the wrong status on the battery could be due to the firmware and I recommend you to check if SRAM has released a new version.

  I would also recommend resetting the AXS drivetrain and pairing it again with the Karoo 2 as the radio signal strength is low for your derailleur.

  Thanks, i have updated the firmware. How do i do the following:

  Hi Sieste, before proceeding with the reset - can you try to unpair and repair the AXS with Karoo 2? Also, please confirm the firmware version of the components are up to date on the AXS app.

  Is anyone still having this problem, i checked and firmware is updated on both the Karoo 2 and the SRAM Red AXS but mine always shows full even when its almost empty, ive seen a few posts about this for 12 months so it must be an issue still?

  I am still waiting for them to go empty, will check in when they are.

  Did have an empty quarq powermeter the other day. Axs app reported it as almost empty. When i switched on the karoo to check it changed to full (also on the axs app). Next day it was completly empty and couldnt connect without changing the battery
