Stages L/R Dual Sided Power Meter

I have successfully paired my Stages L/R Power meters to my Karoo 2. I'm reading cadence and power, but not L/R balance. Oddly, I originally had trouble pairing consistently, but I did get a reading for L/R balance when paired. I updated the firmware. Now I stay paired, but I've lost the L/R balance reading. Ideas?
