Neither Climber nor Elevation activate when RWGPS route is loaded

Climber works just fine with K2 when no route is loaded. However, when I load and follow a RWGPS route, Climber doesn't activate and Elevation data isn't shown. Climber drawer is set to Always On.

Is there a compatibility issue or what setting is needed to allow Climber and Elevation when using a RWGPS route?

  I use RWGPS routes loaded onto my K2 on every single ride. Climber and Elevation work just fine (even though elevation is off) they are working.

  Good to hear! Have you made any particular settings in either RWGPS or in Karoo 2 to ensure that Climber and Elevation work?

  No I have not, those features have always worked on my K2.

  Ok, tnx. Odd that it's not working for me.

  On your Karoo, do you choose the profile then select a route? Or do you open the route first?

  I only have one profile for the K2, riding outside. So all I do is choose my route and off I go.

  I'm gonna bug this. I can't get Climber or Elevation to work in my MTB profile (1 of 4 profiles) when using RWGPS routes. I've changed a couple settings, and I'm going to try when connected to mobile hotspot vs not to see if that makes a difference. But I don't see why any of that would influence Climber activation and data in Elevation.
