How to consistently center position when navigating?
I'm fairly new to my Karoo 2, and have a strange issue: Sometimes when I pan around the map, the unit will then decenter my position on the map, with the result that the yellow arrow indicating my position will eventually leave the screen at the top of the map. I can of course tap the "center" button, which centers me at that moment, but then the arrow will just travel out of the screen again. I can't figure out how to lock my position to the screen, and I don't understand this behavior at all—what is the possible use case where it is helpful for your position to consistently not be shown on the screen during a ride?
Am I missing something obvious? Thanks!

You may have unlocked the map to pan around the near by areas. There is a small lock icon just above the arrow on the left of your Karoo 2 screen, press that to keep your current position locked on the map.
