    Hi Josh,

Sorry to hear about the challenges in connecting the power meter to Karoo 2. I see that you also have a ticket open with us. I have replied to you with a few steps to help us isolate the issue.

Let us know your observations and will further investigate on this for you.

Hi! I had the same issue earlier, with my 4iiii dropping out very frequently around october/november.

Contacted 4iiii, they could only replace the unit but my reseller didn't have one in stock so I waited. I tried changing the battery, but the issue persisted and continued getting worse.. (had whole 100km rides when it wouldn't connect at all, and others for no more than 2min total out of 7 hours) until recently when I tried a new battery from _a good brand_. And now it works flawlessly again, with both my garmin watch and my Karoo.

It seems like a 4iiii issue with low-ish battery power to me. In october/november I think that's when it got under 40 or 50% battery, and me getting a Karoo back then might just be a coincidence.

Thanks Rudy for sharing your thoughts here.

Josh has confirmed that the issue has been resolved after replacing the battery( Duracell) and did not have any dropouts.

I have frequent dropouts with two different (105 and GRX) 4iiii PMs and my K2 when connected via ANT+. With BLE, it works perfectly. I have now connected the PM's via both ANT+ and BLE (put the ANT+ above the BLE entry) so in case the ANT+ is lost, it will switch to BLE hoping that this saves battery compared to just connecting to BLE. Could HH confirm this?

Also, I often notice that after a dropout, it seems that K2 is having difficulties averaging my power values as I often receive a peak in power while maintaining "near" constant power and cadence.
