How does the Garmin Rally RS200 appear

Hi, 

1 month ago I started using the RS200 powermeter pedals. They paired immediately without any problem and when I tapped on the sensor I could see both pedals.

Last weekend during a ride I noticed wrong power readings and at home I noticed that the right pedal was not visible anymore; I decoupled and re-coupled the pedals again; That didn't help; I removed the sensor from the K2 and then added them again.

This time however I am only seeing the left pedal, but the power numbers are correct again.

The question is: What am I supposed to see? 2 pedals or 1? 
I know the left pedal communicates with the head unit and the right pedal communicates with the left pedal but I am 100% sure that I saw both of them before the incident..
