New Warranty/Returns Policy

With the new Karoo3 ... let's call it what it is ... SRAM have changed the Warranty/Returns policy from what was always offered by the independent Hammerhead company.

Returns policy has been reduced from 45 days to 30 days ...

Warranty policy for anything bought after 15 May 2024 is now subject to SRAMs Warranty policy and no longer the original one from Hammerhead. I have to confess that I don't know if the SRAM Warranty policy differs much from the Hammerhead one but, as many of us feared when SRAM bought Hammerhead, Big Brother has moved to the fore!

Remember when it was announced that SRAM would let Hammerhead continue as their own autonomous company under the SRAM umbrella?

    More than a new model it seems that they have relaunched the karoo 2 SRAM edition. And of course, inflated price

    Until they resolve the elevation issue with the Karoo 2 I can’t see how the warranty can stand as the unit is not fit for the purpose it has been sold for.

    For those of us in the US, the SRAM warranty may actually be better as it covers 2-years (vs 1 year with the older Hammerhead warranty).
