New AXS Red Shifter upgrade...both brand new 24 Red shifters and blips show low battery levels in red

After goggling this issue and reading all the posts here...., I have come to the conclusion that my Karoo2 is useless for linking the new AXS Red drivetrain.  between the levers and the blips there is constant battery warning beeping every single shift and the red bar is a major distraction.  I don't really need to know what gear I am in anyway right? It is nice but not at the expense of this distraction.   but for this price point and implied benefit its a real headache and unnecessary as other have posted.   Somehow, I assumed this would have an ez fix being a SRAM owned company and all and the big new Red AXS launch etc... Are you perhaps implying we have to buy the Karoo3 now as THE fix?  
Before the upgrade I only experience this with the blips which is somewhat tolerable because I use those far less often.  

With no solution this device site in my drawer and another brand unit in its place.  

Please advise when there is a fix or a simple off switch for battery warning....
