Lost downloaded route during ride
I downloaded a route to my K2 while connected to home wi-fi. When I started my ride, it was working fine; however, when I stopped to wait for someone, the unit lost the route and went into an endless loop with a message something like "Searching for route," with a spinning circle. The only way to stop the search was to end the ride. On a previous ride, I started recording ride on the K2 before I left my house, but it did not connect to GPS for ca half mile. In both cases, I had my phone with me. I have not had these problems before and they both occurred after recently setting up the K2 to automatically connect to home wi-fi. Is this a coincidence or should I turn off the K2 wi-fi and only have it connect to my phone for downloading routes and updates?
