[BUG] Issue with combined remaining distance and elevation graph after 30/05/2024 update
CompletedDear Support team,
First of all, I want to thank you for fixing the issue with the zoom on map view when approaching a turn, it's working again.
But my message is about another new problem. After last update (1.480.1854), on my last ride I had an issue with this combined graph, it frozen after a while. Take a look at these pictures:
In this first one, you can see that got frozen when remaining 126.9 km, but the real remaining distance was 76.3 km.
I did 2 things:
1) First one, not follow the route, and then, load the route again, looking forward to see the updated graph. But actually, the graph didn't appear:
2) Second one, when stopping for lunch, I powered off the karoo to save battery. When powered on again, the paused route is resumed, and the graph appeared again... but not correctly, the values on it were wrong again. (I have no pic for this)
I asked in a Spanish community about that and other fellow observed the same thing... so I think it's not a particular matter, but a general one.
Please, would you consider to fix it on next updates ?
Thanks a lot.
Best regards.

Hi All,
We’ve fixed an issue with the remaining distance/elevation data field that caused it to not work correctly when you re-join your route.
Thank you!

On a century ride 8 days ago, the progress bars never moved and just indicated I had the full distance/elevation to go for the entire ride. Today, the bars showed progression, but the numbers did not make sense with the ride. It showed we had 74 feet of elevation left and a few miles when we had about 1800 feet of elevation left and about 30 miles.

Hi Hammerhead supportteam,
Sundays I usually have a club ride. The planned route is installed on my Karoo 2. It's 3 kilometers to the departure point from my home. Naturally the pause is active before the group's departure. From that moment until the end of a 100km ride both graphs in question are frozen.
I hope this helps in finding the source of the bug. -
Hi Shruti, thanks a lot, with last update, for the moment, I did not see this issue again. Seems it's working again! Keep watching anyway...
Verhstyle, yes, you have to install the last update, the same comment is in the release notes:https://www.eu.hammerhead.io/blogs/change-logs/karoo-software-build-version-1-486-1874
