Playing with sideloading apps while the SDK isn't available for the new karoo to develop for. DJI mimo app works a treat (used with MK2 of the DJI action 2 camera), it's an app that I can't get working on any of my android phones, but connects to the camera a treat from the Karoo over WiFi. Live camera feed, editing and playback all ace. Garmin varia app also works a treat if it's in the foreground (leaving the standard running profile recording in the background) locus pro works for recording walking trips.

  Hi Ian, what app version did you use? I tried the latest ver., I tried some from 2020, then randomly few from later years, but every app has same issue and never loads beyond some initial screen (then reports some "resource file download problem - check network connection" -> eventhough its connected to the wifi). I used apkPure for the .apk download. If you could post a link for your app version that would be appreciated!

  Hi Sam, sorry missed this - my karoo went back under warranty, new one arrived today. 
  
  I was using 2.04 from apk mirror.

  Just about to push 2.0.12 as that's been pushed to apkmirror today - it's a big old download, so presume it contains the resources (they take a couple of seconds to load on the karoo). 
  2.0.12 installs
  https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/dji-technology-co-ltd/dji-mimo/dji-mimo-2-0-12-release/
  But... there's a newer bluetooth option that stops the app connecting. (blocks the screen and the karoo doesn't see the action 2 on bt).
  Hurrah - It appears resetting the action 2 wireless, then turning off and on the karoo wifi and connecting the wifi to the action 2 works. BT blocking screen clears and can acccess the action2 over wifi live through the karoo.

  I see now from the picture, that you have Karoo 3. I have K2, which is Android 8, so the v2.0.... will not run on my device since it is Android 9+ unfortunately.

  Waiting for a DJI Ation Extension...

  Waiting waiting, but why Hammerhead do t make a Extension or a control Windows to work to DJI Action Cameras? Most today cycling People use Cameras to make a vídeo or take a photos o bike rides.
