    Hi Terry, please check if the Power button and the USB-plug is being obstructed by each other. If you can also share the pictures with us over the ticket, we can look into it to see if a replacement is required for this issue.

    Hello- I have a similar glitch with my new Karoo3. After saving then shutting unit down the Hammerhead icon appears intermittently on the screen partially draining the battery

    I aim to test this some more over the coming, week - if it's no better I'll raise a ticket.
    Not been able to ride this week as ill. 
    Worrying if it's the battery cover interfering, as that's a bit of a design flaw if so!

    This does appear to be related to the battery cover. Unhooking it (ie opening it) and the device powers off properly.

    Ali, is there a different batch of Karoo that doesn't have this fault? I can't see how a replacement would magically fix it unless it's been redesigned.
    Might be better if I just trim the little 0.35mm lip off the rubber battery cover so it doesn't interfere.

    I noticed this problem with my Karoo3 today. After saving and switching off the device, the hammerhead symbol appears on the screen at irregular intervals and only stopped when I pressed the switch-off button again.

    It also happens to me that the charging cover interferes with the power button. The device does not download, but I notice that the button does not work as it should.

    I am facing the same issues.  Device stops and circles booting up showing the Hammerhead symbol. Only pressing Power button stops this cycle. This is not an issue of the power button and the USB-Plug. 

    I tried to update the firmware.. Everytime time I press the "Install"-Button, the device reboots instantly.

    Same problem, trying to save the ride with the touch screen, devices starts booting cycles. After stopping the cycles with the power botton, ride is saved incompletely and cannot be loaded on AXS or Strava

    After around 10 tries, the Firmware Update worked. The issue did not appear anymore since then.

    Thank you Christopher. My firmware is up to date. In my case it seems indeed to be a problem with the power button stuck to the USB-C cover. If I open the cover the rebooting does no longer occur (which was also sometimes the case when I tried to switch on the device)
