charging means discharging
when the Karoo 2 is on the charger it discharges faster than it charges. I have already gone through the procedure of discharging and resetting. Can not drive long trips because the battery does not last that long. With the economical battery mode you have no image most of the time and therefore no view of distance and speed. The Karoo 2 seems to be a step backwards compared to the karoo 1. I think it is time for another brand, I am completely fed up with the hassle of not charging. Not amused.

I have used a powerbank and a short USB-A -> USB-C cable in ride and it kept the Karoo battery at 100% while riding including navigation and a couple of Bluetooth/ANT+ sensors.
Your experience might be because of a bad cable or a bad charger. Which ones do you use? Since you are mentioning in-ride battery draining it can't be a wall plug so it's either a powerbank or some hub dynamo to USB converter. Those are way too many variables to diagnose the issue properly.
