HX Activity Service has stopped, after update 1.497.1916.12 23/08/24
Good evening. I've had my K2 since July 2021 (3 years & 1 Month) I Love it and Its been brilliant, its worked every time, I've done all the updates when they arrived no issues.
However todays 23/08/24 update no 1.497.1916.12 has made my unit unusable.
Ok i know a factory reset has a good chance of fixing it which i will try later after reading some of the answers to my post.
But here is what happened.
Update done, Ride started, however temperature was showing zero, Elevation climbed was also showing zero.
All other fields were fine, café stop after 24 miles, back on bike after 20 minutes or so on auto pause to find (HX Activity Service has stopped) on the screen please see photo attached.
Restarted few times but kept coming up just would not start ride.
Could an update really do this? Anything I can do to fix without a reset please?

Similar problem today for me, no problem starting a ride, but somewhere in the middle of the ride all the data fields stopped updating and got the HX Activity Service stopped message. The only way to resume the ride was to reboot Karoo, after restart the ride continued, a couple hours later some problem occurred again in the same ride.
