Stuck on "Preparing Route" Karoo (3) 2024 1.497.1916.20
AnsweredUsing my brand new Karoo (3) I got the same problem users described with Karoo 1 and 2. Every time I am downloading a new route from Komoot via the over air sync it will stuck on "Preparing Route". Every single time I have to delete the offline-maps and re-install them to get the routes working. I have the latest software installed (1.497.1916.20). Is there a work around or am I doing something wrong? Thank you for the support!

Hi Johannes, based on the information provided on the ticket I see that you are trying to start the ride inside the home, and the when the device can’t load the route due to the lack of a GPS signal. Follow the below steps to avoid the error on the Karoo.
- Turn on the Karoo and come outside of the house.
- Ensure that the GPX fix is there in the Karoo before starting the ride and you should not have any problem with loading the route.
