Auto-Log to Wifi

Hi! Unfortunately you still have to use Wi-Fi to sync with smartphone-data or upload files. Now you have to do a lot of taps here to get what you want: (00 activate hotspot on smartphone) 01 activate Wifi on Karoo, 02 still go to settings look and grab your Hotspot. This sounds simple enough. But why just not auto-connect with your favorite hotspot(s) when activate Wifi on shortcut menu? I could even let my phone stuck in my pocket then …

  My k2 does auto join my hotspot.

  It works with my home-wifi.
  But does not work with my (iPhone) hotspot. 
  
  Any hints?

  Not sure what to suggest, other than delete connection and rejoin hotspot to refresh. I’m also using iPhone with latest IOS. I’ve just double checked as was doubting myself, but it connects straight away automatically.
