Speed gets stuck on 27.9km/h
Two recent, consecutive rides: everything is functioning normally, then, randomly, the speed is stuck at 27.9km/h, irrespective of what speed I'm travelling. It'll display 0 when stationary, but then displays 27.9 as soon as I'm moving; the gradient also displays as 0.2. Of course that distorts the distance readings, a 70km ride shows over 300km travelled. Routing etc is unaffected. Any idea of what is going on?

OK, this issue is recurring; it happens in the forest, it happens in open country. It has no identifiable trigger and doesn't return to normal behaviour if I turn the Karoo off, only after it has been charged. It did revert to normal accurate speed and distance reading spontaneously (ironically, in a forest). Interestingly, whilst my speed shows as 27.9km/h on the Karoo, it records on the data file as 151km/h (I wish😂) and an hour's riding adds 150km to the distance. Elevation and temperature are unaffected. My e-bike simultaneously is recording and has never lost its GPS lock. I'm riding with someone who also has a Karoo, and this is faultless.
All this suggests is a software issue, but before I go to the trouble of a device reset (hours of work recreating profiles) or even just a profile deletion and re-creation, it would be nice to hear if anyone has had a similar issue, and if this may resolve it.

Please do not attempt a reset right away, even though you won't lose any of the profiles and everything account related will be back up after the reset.
However, please see if your eBike is connected and transmitting speed data. We have seen similar speed related issues on some eBikes. Please send the details of your ride FIT file and device Serial number with us in a ticket to support. Click here: https://support.hammerhead.io/hc/en-us/requests/new
