vertical ascent stopped working....
hi,
i'm a long time karoo user. i have the karoo 2. today, everything associated with vertical speed stopped working. so i have no idea how many meters i climbed, my rate of ascent, etc. it's a very important feature for me. needless to say the predictive climbing function (one of my favorites) also did not work.
my speed sensor worked fine. the auto start and stop feature also experienced no problems. the mapping function worked as well.
however the temperature sensor was not working.
has anyone else experienced such a failure? any ideas as to how to fix it? i just downloaded and installed the latest software but that did not seem to fix it.

nothing from my friends at hammerhead?
i suppose i will have to try resetting to factory defaults, which i am loathe to do, and see if this resolves my problem.
if it does not, i suppose i will have to make a warranty claim, as the device is less than 2 years old, and the sensor for vertical ascents is part of the device.

Hi Larry, it looks like the barometer is not functioning well on your device, which is why all the related data-fields are not showing any data for you. The predictive climb should have worked as that's not related to Barometer and is data that's sourced from Map and Location.
