K3 Bug with Varia RTL515

I've had the same problem with my K3 and Varia radar twice now (twice in about 100 rides is not terribly bad). My default light is set to Solid-Min on my K3, but twice now I found it set to Solid-Low. That's too bright when riding through town where I'm blinding any riders behind me.
Here's the bug part - when I select Solid-Min and wait for 5-6 seconds it switches to Solid-Low. No matter how many times I set it to something different, it switches back to Solid-Low.
Both times powering off/on my K3 made it go back to normal operation.

edit - The light setting is the only issue, the rest works fine.

  I can confirm this bug, it sometimes happens and then I have to delete the sensor and pair it again.

  But I'm not sure if this is a Hammerhead or a Varia problem, as I had the same problem with my Bolt 2 a few days ago. And as I tried my old Edge 130 these days, too, same problem here, the pattern could only be changed on the radar-unit and not on the Edge. I had to unpair and pair the radar again to make it work again.

  Strange, but maybe this radar thing is a bit complex.

  Good information. I had forgotten that I could set the light mode with Varia button so I assumed the problem must be with the K3. This radar thing does sound a bit more complex than I first thought.

  The light mode changing itself is a bug on radar, and usually a reset of the radar fixes the problem.
