1.509.1960 update makes Karoo2 unusable

After updating the Karoo to the latest software release (1.509.1960.12) the device is becoming unusable:

- It takes ages to start and when it does there's a white blank page that you can't get out of unless you force press some buttons some time later to kick it out to the dashboard 
- During all my outdoor rides after the update the OS has crashed, losing data and some (or most) of the ride. I've had to use a Garmin watch as a back-up because at this stage I no longer can trust the bike computer

Having this issue popping up after a software release is scary. I have always been a proud supporter of Hammerhead but the Karoo3 release, lack of upgrade program and overall lower performance of the Karoo2 since the new version was released has me thinking to move to either Wahoo or Garmin

  Hi, try updating to the latest version of ki2 and it is very possible that everything will work as before.

  Latest build 1.513.1975 from today, October 17, doesn't fix it. Blank screen during start remains

  Did you see Javier's comment? The white screen on startup was the result of the previous update clashing with ki2. Updating ki2 fixed the problem.

  Update Ki2 or whatever 3rd party apps you might have installed. I had white screen with Ki2 v8.0 and 1.509.1960 but v8.1 update fixed it for me. With 1.513.1975 no white screen reappeared.

  Update after the latest build: now I'm receiving "HX DataSync Service" errors, most of the time before the ride starts. I haven't had OS crashes during the rides so far though.

  @Stanley, @Jim - yes, updating both Ki2 and the latest OS build fixed the blank screen. Still getting DataSync errors though as screenshot above
