Battery Save -> Screen Off Timer not “working”

Karoo 3 with latest OS. I have adjusted the screen off timer to 9:59. However, the screen seems to still turn off after about 1 minute when I’m out riding and have stopped for a short period of time. Am I adjusting the correct screen off timer in Settings?
