Karoo 2 choosing power meter with smart trainer

Hi recently I bought a power meter and I have a digital smart trainer. I would like to use a trainer with a power meter so to take the power from the power meter and control the resistance by the smart trainer. Is this possible? While I coonect both trainer and power meter. It assumes that the trainer's power readings are more important and displays them. Neglecting readings from power meter
