I upload a new version of Vin Hammerhead Karoo Extension. User manual updated here:

HkE provides several alerts types. By time, calories, max power or max hear rate. Provides graphics widgets for power, heart rate, calories, power balance and pit board. Pit board is a easy to use functionality for receive small information from a remote web client and be able to choose an answer from up 3 diferent options while riding. See user manual to know more.
I am working now in ride start-stop automatic messages to pit board and a virtual partner widget.
Still is a beta phase. Please, be patient if found any bug and report.

Power target workout is not avalaible between extension fields. I will ask for it to hammerhead.
@Carsten WeigandtThere was a bug in elevation and distance remaining in 1.2.7. Please update Vin HkE to latest release (1.2.8). In this release bug is fixed. After update, please, review your custom fields configuration. Not defined indicates that you have not selected any field in this box. -
Hello @VinApp,
I guess the explanation for updating the VinHkE you gave to Alfredo is based on Karoo 3. How should we do it in Karoo 2? Remove the current one and side load the new Version again?
Also something I did not quite get from our last exchange was how to install the VinApp for the workouts. I have VinHKE installed already but not yet VinApp.
Sorry I am not very used to all this GitHub stuff and would appreciate some help.

Hola Alfredo. Vinapp soporta carga de entrenamientos desde intervals y hacia intervals. Con garmin la integración es en un solo sentido, puedes subir entrenos planificados de Vinapp a garmin connect, pero no descargarlos.
Una vez que tengas los entrenos en Vinapp la integración con Vin HkE es inmediata.

Felicitaciones por el trabajo que están realizando. Todavía no tengo mi Karoo pero viene en camino y la decisión de compra, en gran parte fue por el nivel de personalización y los features que están incluyendo ustedes como dev.
Creo que una gran opción sería poder ver en 1 campo gráfico el perfil completo de la ruta con el pin de mi ubicación actual y los POIs cargados. Creo que en carrera es super útil ver el desnivel de la etapa, mi ubicación, distancia hasta prox POI (como feed zone) para gestionar nutrición y esfuerzos.
Espero que sume! Yo lo haré desde su web con el sponsorship.

Hablaremos con Hammerhead a ver si fuera posible compartir la información de distancia y desnivel restante hasta el siguiente POI. Ahora mismo los únicos datos que podemos recibir de las extensiones son los que ya tenemos de elevación y distancia distante hasta el final.
Para gestionar la nutrición puedes probar las alarmas de quema de carbohidratos. La pusimos con esa idea, dado que la quema de carbohidratos puede dar más información acerca de las necesidades nutricionales en carrera que la simple quema de calorías o el tiempo transcurrido.

We will talk to Hammerhead to see if it would be possible to share the distance and elevation information remaining until the next POI. Right now the only data we can receive from the extensions is what we already have regarding elevation and distant distance to the end.
To manage nutrition you can try carbohydrate burning alarms. We put it with that idea, since carbohydrate burning can give more information about nutritional needs during the race than simple calorie burn or elapsed time.

Con la app de vinapp en k3 se controla directamente le rodillo intleligente?
Otra pregunta, veo que existen entrenamientos que simulan entornos reales. Si yo hago un entrenamiento que es "subir al tourmalet", se almacena luego el entreno con velocidad y con desnivel y se sincroniza con strava como un workout ejecutado directamente con la opción de workouts de HH?Gracias por tu curro!

@Mikel. Con la app de Vinapp se controla directamente el rodillo smart, sí. Puedes hacer tanto entrenos estructurados en modo ERG como simular trayectos. Vinapp tiene una amplísima librería de entrenos y también una buena lista de trayectos. Tambien permite que importes tus propios entrenos o trayectos y ejecutarlos en la app.
Este es un ejemplo de Vinapp ejecutando un workout en el karoo.
@Mikel. With Vinapp you can directly control the smart trainer, yes. You can do both structured training in ERG mode and simulate routes. Vinapp has a very extensive library of training sessions and also a good list of routes. It also allows you to import your own workouts or routes and execute them in the app. This is an example of Vinapp running a workout in the karoo.

1.3.0Improve data flow stability, please if go to zero again try changing profile to anither and later back to the original. I think that the issue can be in extension view refresing instead of data flows. I need to known more.

Gracias nuevamente por todo lo que hacen por los usuarios de Karoo.
Existe la posibilidad de tomar los datos de los sensores TyreWiz de presión de neumáticos? El campo original de hammerhead ocupa todo 1 campo. Encuentro ventajoso usar sus campos personalizados donde podes ubicar 2:1 para presión trasera y delantera.

Sí, es posible porque creo recordar que las extensions de karoo exponen esos datos. Voy a mirarlo y si es posible capturarlos los añado en la siguiente versión.
No dispongo de esos sensores, así que tendré que subirlo "a ciegas". Ya me contarás si funciona.
