Hi all,

I upload a new version of Vin Hammerhead Karoo Extension. User manual updated here:

HkE provides several alerts types.  By time, calories, max power or max hear rate. Provides graphics widgets for power, heart rate, calories, power balance and pit board. Pit board is a easy to use functionality for receive small information from a remote web client and be able to choose an answer from up 3 diferent options while riding. See user manual to know more.

I am working now in ride start-stop automatic messages to pit board and a virtual partner widget. 

Still is a beta phase. Please, be patient if found any bug and report.

    Excelente el nuevo datafield para presión de neumáticos con TyreWiz. Tuve un inconveniente en la información y desde Hammerhead me informaron que debía configurarlo en PSI o BAR. Creo que pasa algo similar con el campo de ustedes porque me trae información con valores anormales, parecieran ser kilopascales. Se podrá configurar en PSI o BAR? No lo encontré en los settings de HkE

    Sospecho que te está dando la medida el milibares. Lo arreglo en la siguiente versión e intentaré leer la configuración de usuario de karoo para mostrarlo en las unidades que quieres. Como no tenía forma de ver qué sale estoy mostrando el campo en bruto, tal como me lo envía el karoo.

    Acabo de revisar y en este momento el perfil de usuario que comparte la extensión no envía el valor de las unidades preferidas para la presión. Habrá que pedir a hammerhead que la publiquen. Mientras pasaré de milibares a bares el dato, así verás algo más adecuado.

    Ich habe nur noch Probleme seit den letzten Updates. Keine Daten für Geschwindigkeit, Herz und Höhen. Felder frieren ein oder zeigen nichts an. Manchmal funktioniert es, sehr oft nicht. Die Datenströme kann ich nicht beu starten. Schade, die ersten Versionen haben besser funktioniert.

    Hi Carsten,

    Which version are you using? I have upload a new release today, 1.4.4. Please, upgrade your Vin HkE and try again. I think that some problems with streams start and restarting after pause, can be solved in this release.

    Why yo do not can start data flows?

    Yesterday I had the problems even after a break. Before the break, everything worked perfectly. After that, I resumed the ride and the fields didn't show anything. I could no longer restart the data streams. I have installed the update and will test it tomorrow. Thanks for their quick updates.

    Thanks for your feedback Carsten. I hope that new release will fix problems with pause and restarting. Let me known if problem is solved or not please.

    @vin Hi mate

    I cannot get the 'Time in Power' field to show in Zwift colours. All other fields in HKE app are in Zwift colours Including 'HKE Power'. Any tips appreciated 👍🏻

    Time in power is a standard karoo field, not a HkE Field. I can't change its color chart.

    @Vinapp excelente idea los datastreams!!

    ¿Será que se puede configurar 1 pagina con todos esos streams para tener acceso más directo y no tener que entrar a la extensión para visualizarlos? o disponibilizar esos datos como graphic fields para poder sumarlos a cualquier pantalla.

    Diego por poder se puede pero no creo que tenga interes para una ventana en rideapp. Esta es una funcionalidad de depuracion.

    Yes could be, but is a debugger functionality that would no be necesary.

    @Vin, ah, that makes sense. Ok. Therefore I like your App implementation better than KARROs and will ask them politely to consider aligning colours to ZWIFT, GARMIN, etc zones. Thanks for everything. You App is amazing.

    Hello, very good work and great application to customize the Karoo fields. Could you add the “meters to top” field? I usually use it on the map, and so I could add all the fields with your application.

    Meters to top is not exposed by the extensins core. Not possible at the moment.

    Hi, a couple of things.

    Lucy and Leonardo are the wrong way around when you come to apply them.

    As you can see here, the fields cover the arrow indicator.

    Also could we please be able to change the header text. I can shorten mine down, like cad for cadence and rem for distance remaining.

    Also it feels like the icons are in the wrong place when the text is right-aligned.

    Hi James,

    this seems to be a hammerhead error. HkE or any other fields fill the space available by the standard layout, which never must overlap the arrow.

    Me pasa lo mismo desde las últimas actualizaciones (de HH y de Vin HKE). No sé cual es el "culpable" pero la flecha amarilla se me queda debajo en lugar de subirse más arriba, cuando tengo 4 campos y alguno es de HKE. Estoy casi seguro que sucede con los multi o con los pwr, pero ya no sé que pensar porque me he vuelto loco a hacer pruebas. Ni eliminando el mapa y volviendo a poner 4 campos de HH se recupera la flecha amarilla (sigue en la parte baja). Sin embargo si hago un perfil nuevo y no meto ningún campo de HKE, todo perfecto. Cuando empiezo a trastear y se traba la flecha amarilla debajo, ya no hay manera de recuperarla. O pongo 2 campos en lugar de 4, o nada.

    Hola Mikel, está confirmado que es un error de la última actualización del karoo. Pasa también con los campos estandar. Es decir, el problema no es que Vin HkE ocupe más de lo que debe, es que la caja estándar donde ponemos el campo de Vin ocupa más de lo que debe. Si pones campos normales te pasará igual.

    Creo que si eliminas el indicador de giro ya no se oculta la flecha. Así lo tengo yo y se ve bien. Tengo en el mapa un solo campo estandar donde meto un layout SIX de Vin HkE

     

     

    Hi Mikel, it is confirmed that it is a bug in the latest Karoo update. It also happens with standard fields. That is, the problem is not that Vin HkE takes up more space than it should, it is that the standard box where we put the Vin field takes up more space than it should. If you put normal fields, the same thing will happen to you. I think that if you remove the turn indicator, the arrow is no longer hidden. That's how I have it and it looks fine. I have a single standard field on the map where I put a SIX layout of Vin HkE

    Thanks. I reported it as a bug. It's a shame I didn't really you could have six HkE fields in a single field. I should have done that instead of 3 and 3. It's been hard work the last two days without the arrow.

    Configure a Vanesa field with layout SIX and add it to your map profile with only one field at the bottom.

    Hello,
    Great job! I've just discovered this application, which solves with Vanessa the big locator pointer offset bug introduced by Hammerhead in the last release, as well as many other things. Would it be possible to add “% of maximum heart rate” to the list of heart rate options?

    Unfortunately, I couldn't get any functionality out of the vin-hke app.

    The only thing that was displayed was Vanesa no Sensor,

    even though the data fields were defined in the settings.

    Is there a useful description of this app?

    Diferents and separate options for your customizations. Lucy and Leonardo are more restrictive in layout selection.

    It seems that your karoo have any problem with extension initialization, is its firmware updated?. Try restarting your device. In some cases when a extension is installed karoo not initialize it correctly. It was a problem in first extension core releases that was fixed, but it seems that fail again.
