Feature request: Radar - Ability to get alerts even outside of a ride

I would appreciate if my radar gives alerts also BEFORE I even start the ride (the recording) and also AFTER recording is stopped. Like when I'm on the home page with all the profiles being shown, I'd still like to see the car approaching me.

Cuz I dunno about the others, but I start my ride recording after like 1 or 2km of leaving my home. Basically when I cruise thru the city I don't want my ride to be distorted by my slow ride in the city at the beginning. And basically the same when I stop recording.

  Hi Martin,

  Thanks for sharing your suggestion! I have ensured that I share it with the product team for their reference!

  The current implementation of the radar UI only allows the radar lane to show up when you are in-ride; however, it does not show an active UI when you are on the homepage or settings; however, Karoo does play the audio alert even if you are outside the ride app for all kinds of notifications, i.e., texts, calls, radar alerts, etc. 

  Since you do not want to start recording the activity till you are out of the city, you can have the Karoo dwell on the map page and start recording the ride once you are at a faster pace; however, the Karoo will continue to remind you that the activity is not recording since you are moving. I hope this work around helps!
