The GoPro mount I bought came with longer screws that went through the exiting holes on the outfront mount.

Which mount did you buy and we're you happy with the outcome?

BarFly (the folks that make the mount that comes with the Karoo) also has an adapter kit for GoPros

Hi All, could anyone please share a photo of the finished installed product?

Just got my Karoo 2. Managed to cannibalise my existing K-Edge Garmin with GoPro mount to use its screws to add the GoPro mount to the Karoo 2 mount.

This topic was started before the Karoo 2 was created, so it is actually covering two issues now.

    1. Karoo 1: You can easily purchase a K-Edge mount with a go pro adapter. It sounds like you can also purchase a go pro adapter for the bar fly mount that comes with Karoo 1.

Karoo 2: as pictured above, if you buy a K-Edge go pro adapter and longer screws, you can mount an adapter under the new K2 mount. Works perfectly.

I hope this helps resolve any confusion.

To clarify, I have a K2 mount - would this be the right adapter that would work perfectly?

Just wanted to double check before I purchase anything :)

That is the correct adapter. You will need longer screws to mount it on the K2 mount; I was able to find the correct screws at a local hardware store.

Also, do not over tighten the new, longer, screws otherwise the Karoo 2 foot will crack and you will pull the threaded metal inserts out of it.

It's easily done, which is why I've moved to a K-Edge mount with a custom 3D printed foot now.

I would love to print one of those myself. Are there spec files you can post somewhere?

There probably are, Robert, but mine was from an eBay seller in the UK.

It's a very high quality print and comes with new stainless steel screws to mount it to the K-Edge mount.

I have a Lezyne front light mounted underneath it, using the GoPro adapter.
