Hi, is it possible to udate the maps manual? Or add extra cycling maps (such as Garmin does) regards klaasjan

  Hi Klassjan,

  Our mapping is based on OSM. Currently, we do not have the option to use third-party maps directly in the Karoo. But of course, you will be able to side-load third party Apps on Karoo and many users in our community are seamlessly using it. You can also refer to this post and the comments of the users in our community who are taking advantage of the third party Apps in karoo.

  Currently, we do not recommend side-loading Third-party apps. The main reason being that we cannot guarantee how each app will work and if it will pull sensor data accurately.

  OSM shows much more feautures than Karoo map:

  - no level lines or shadowing, which is a critical feature for MTB - I can't identify what is mountain ridge anf what is valley or which way is uphills...

  - no official cycling trails - in national parks only official trails are allowed for cycling. OSM / Cycling map shows them in purple color

  - official hiking paths  and bike trails are shown in same line style

  - most outdoor orientation POI are missing...

  Please, show in Karoo map at least all map features which are shown in Route Builder!!!
