"Train smarter with Karoo" and two other niggles.
AnsweredHello, I will be coming up for 30 days with my Karoo and generally I think it is excellent. However, front and center on your website is "Train smarter with Karoo" but unless I am missing something I cannot review any of my performance data on the device or on the dashboard. I have seen some hints of a dashboard upgrade but do you have any plans for that type of functionality?
I think it would also be nice to have finer divisions for heart rate (or power zone) histograms. Perhaps the graph could be split into 0.1 zone bars or perhaps 0.2? Then I can see if I am working around 3.5 or 3.9 for instance over a long period.
Final thing, could we have a wifi symbol indicating it is on but with no connection. I rode for 5 hours on Saturday with it switched on but it never got a connection so I didn't notice! Presumably that used some battery up.
Thanks Rich

Hey Rich.
Sorry for any trouble. We have recently updated our website to showcase a lot of stuff that is being worked on right now. Training plans and workouts are the next big thing that we are looking to release in the coming days.
Our online dashboard does a very limited analysis of the FIT files generated by Karoo. Additional features will debut on the Dashboard in the future. If you are looking to analyze more data captured by the Karoo, can use these free tools:FitFileTools - https://www.fitfiletools.com/#/topGolden Cheetah - https://www.goldencheetah.org/#section-download
I will forward your feature requests on Zones to the product team.
We will not be able to show a WiFi symbol when the unit is not connected to a network because that is how it works on Android. It is similar to all smartphones. By default, the WiFi gets turned off when you start a ride and only turns on again after ending a ride. In-ride, it is only turned on if you manually turn it on again.
I hope this clears your doubts.Comment actions
