No restart after update

I startend the Karoo after not having used it for more than 7 months due to injury: not a problem! Last update was from 29 June so I decided to do another update. After having downloaded the required data the Karoo told me that a restart would be necessary, so I OKed that. Now, the Karoo does not start anymore! Battery was at 56% and is in a charge as we speak. Cannot seem to be able to switch it on anymore! Nothing works! What to do? Best regards, Jeroen Segers

  You may have to retry a few times if this doesn't work at first try.

  The reset requires some practice - the moment of pressing buttons is important.

  In the end it didnt. Hammerhead has been so kind as to send me a brand new Karoo.

  Hi Jeroen, I have also left a ticket at the support to help me. I got partially in the factory reset procedure, but now the device is not reacting at all anymore just like you described. It was also during an update procedure.

  Uhuh. That was exactly my problem. Simply couldnt get it to start anymore although I knew that battery and charger were OK.

  same problem for me today, updated and restarted but it has not turned on anymore.
