Dashboard map, OCM?
AnsweredIn the route builder of the Dashboard there is an OCM option. I can't find a legend with this OCM.
Can anybody explain what all the colours mean?

Hey Simon. This should help you out: https://www.opencyclemap.org/docs/

Franklin - that is a helpful key page for the Dashboard map - many thanks.
But, and I have raised this before: Why does the Dashboard correctly highlight UK National Cycle Routes in orange, but the Karoo itself shows absolutely nothing for most these?
Note that the Dashboard correctly shows Local Cycle Routes in blue, and the Karoo shows them correctly, in a green highlight - no problem.
Confusingly, the Karoo highlights many private drives to houses in brown, when the Dashboard map more usefully just shows them in outline.
The Karoo is a cycling device, and surely it should clearly highlight the very important National Cycle Routes? And this is not just a UK problem. I have looked at Tours in France and the Eurovelo National Routes are clearly marked on the Dashboard map but not on the Karoo.
This must be considered a very serious shortcoming of the map rendering on the Karoo, and I believe it needs fixing with some urgency. It is likely to affect the Karoo 2 as well, assuming the same mapping is used.
I am going to cross-post this in the ATG since I consider it so important.

I suspect it’s simply because the maps on the device are not OCM.
It is a shame really. Those maps in the dashboard are an excellent balance of clarity with useful information like DEM based relief and contour lines. It would be great to have them as the maps we have on the device.
