    Same here. The Karoo sensors for my Quarq cadence and power have failed to connect several times. I’ve not ridden long enough with the latest release to see if the sensors are fixed but will report back when I do.

    @Dan, @Marc
    I am sorry to hear about the trouble with the sensors not tracking the ride as expected. Could I ask you to please share the FIT file and the Serial number of your rides to support@hammerhead.io, so we can help you with this?

    Not sure if this is the same issue but, after update, I had speed dropping out regularly, although this may have nothing to do with the update. It would go from speed to 0 and back up then back to 0. I looked at the data from the ride and the speed was dropping out all the way through the ride. This is the first time I have had this happen on such a regular basis. Should the preference be set to BLE or Ant+ on the sensor list?

    ... as an addition to this. My cadence now does work. I might just shift back to my Garmin, the Karoo mapping is next level but, I seem to have continued issues with sensors that work then do not.

    Hey Rupert. As an interim fix I disconnect and then reconnect the sensors while riding. Sometimes you may need to do that a few times before the connection stabilizes. Will find out on my next long ride if this issue is resolved with latest firmware.

    Thanks John ... silly question but, how do you get to the sensor screen when riding without stopping the ride and restarting a new one.

    With the prior firmware I pushed the upper button on the lower right ride to edit the ride. Get to the main screen to select sensors where you turn off both Ant+ and/or Bluetooth for a few secs. After you turn them back on the unit will start re-pairing to your sensors. From there you can get back to the ride screen. I am not sure if the process is the same with latest firmware. Hope that helps.

    Good question how do you get to the sensor screen with the new software.  The buttons on the right now only pause or lap the current activity.  Any help appreciated.

    I have found the solution.  Press and hold the lower right button and it takes you to the home screen.

    Sadly this is not resolving the issue ... last four rides have dropped speed and cadence (completely). Little bit disappointed with this, seems like a fundamental requirement to be able to hold the sensors. Otherwise, this is just a nice mapping tool. The last ride, I used both garmin and karoo and had no issues with the garmin ... so it is not a sensor issue.

    Rupert, during my four hour ride yesterday my speed, cadence, power meter, and SRAM gear sensors all worked flawlessly with the latest firmware. I wonder if your connectivity issues might be related to your Karoo unit. I am on my second unit which could have more updated hardware?? Franklin, I don’t know if that matters.

    I was wondering if it might be the order that I had them in. I have changed this because I have Assioma power pedals and they record cadence too, so I thought this might be conflicting with the cadence/speed. However, I and am still getting issues ... it initially shows up as a reading then drops the cadence but, the speed drops to 0 then back up throughout the ride. It is only since the latest update and seems to affect the two Garmin sensors rather than HRM, Power or SRAM gearing.

    Rupert, that could be. I have the Quarq power/cadence combo and a Garmin speed sensor only. Perhaps you can drop the speed/cadence device and replace with a pure speed sensor. One time I accidentally paired another bike’s cadence sensor which completely shut down the rest of my readings.

    Actually shut down all my sensor readings.

    I have Wahoo speed and cadence sensors, Speed works but cadence does not after the latest update.
