Map screen - upcoming not where cycled

With the recent changes now showing ride data at the top of the screen, I'm finding navigation a lot less easy as the data fields cover up map detail that is coming up ahead.
It's more frustrating because, the arrow showing my current position is so far up the screen. I don't need to see much of where I have been. Could the arrow be (optionally) moved down to the bottom of the screen.
Alternatively, it would also be helpful to allow the data in the top bar which shows time cycled to be switched. In my case I would change this to current speed and then remove the need for the large data boxes at all - maximising my map space.
Any chance of making this possible? I notice the limited upcoming map is similar on Karoo 2 as well.

Hey Peter. Thanks for your inputs around this. We will be collecting feedback on this as with all our other features and improve on it based on the number of user requests. The product team is already looking into making the ride-time field in the status bar as an editable option. I am unable to promise you any timeline, but, I can guarantee that it is being looked into.
