routing
AnsweredNot sure what went wrong. I was an early adopter of the karoo and have neve had this problem. I made new route the night before the ride, made it on the dashboard on my phone, saved it, and turned on the karoo checked the route, it was all there.
The next morning, I arrived at the beginning of the ride, turned on my karoo, went to routes and tried to use the rout I made, but kept getting an no internet connection, and the route I intended to use was grayed out, as were all my routes. tried a few differnt things, looked in setting to see if the offline map section for some reason was not downloded. but my state was there.
so I did did the ride with out the map. or the route. but was very disappointed. when I got home, turned on the karoo, looked at my route, it popped up and seemed to work and start a ride immediately
have the last few updated caused the karoo to now need a sim card. I had the free sim from mokolo that was offered a year or so ago, but that expired, and I've done several rides using routes maps that I created with out this situation happening.. just confused in california.. maybe my karoo is pissed becuase i pre ordered the 2

Hi William, Sincere apologies for your negative experience with the Karoo and I can imagine how frustrating this could be. If you have the offline map downloaded, you don't need an internet connection to ride a Route. From your message, it seems that the offline map was removed or didn't syn with the Routes when you faced this issue. I believe this is a temporary glitch with the offline map and I request to re-download it again. Also, logout from your Hammerhead account on your Karoo and re-login.
